Recent Projects

We provide a full range of transportation and storage solutions for our clients. Below are some recent projects we have undertaken, with a focus on some of the key areas in which we operate.

  1. Platinum were asked to deliver air conditioning units to a site where a crane was booked for a one hour slot, one of our Artics with retractable roof did the job and provided cover from the elements but also access for the crane!

  2. Platinum provided a complete turnkey delivery solution for one of our clients, we collected these air conditioning units from the Port of Tilbury and stored them in our consolidation centre until they were ready to be delivered to the Royal London Hospital. During the pandemic, they were delivered safely and are now sitting on the roof of the hospital keeping the building cool!

  3. We were asked by one of our clients to deliver 10 pallets of tiles and some huge granite worktops to a penthouse in central London at night time in a restricted area, Platinum took care of the parking dispensation and delivered the products on time ready for the crane to lift the goods up to the penthouse suite ready for installation.

  4. Our client asked us to collect and deliver fridges for an Amazon fresh store in Canary Wharf. We successfully delivered them and placed them into position in the store using a moffett so the installation team could get them fitted and started up.

  5. We collected these unused cable reels from a rail depot in London and delivered them to a rail depot in Manchester for a new project that was being undertaken. We returned six months later and collected the empty drums and delivered them to Cleveland ready to be re cabled once again.

  6. Our client produces an aluminium decking system and we carry out regular deliveries to blocks of flats in and around London where the old wooden decking is being replaced with the new aluminium style decking. Our moffetts are an integral part of the delivery process as most of the sites have no unloading facilities.

  7. Our client was part of a team that created an urban style garden in Islington and we were on hand to help deliver around 20 tonnes of soil and compost as well as trees and plants. The site had no unloading facilities so once again our moffetts proved pivotal in making this delivery happen.

  9. We provided six moffett vehicles to work at various stops throughout the London Marathon providing much needed refreshments for the runners! We have done this job for many years and hopefully many years to come!

  10. We provided a logistical solution for our client Blood Wise in aid of cancer research, we carried the bikes and luggage across the total distance of the ride starting off at Eltham Palace and finishing up at then Eifel Tower.
