As the co- founders of Platinum Transport, both Joe and Stuarts roles are to support the development of the business as well as using their commercial experience in maintaining competitive and cost-efficient working practices.
Both being responsible for directing and implementing a safe and sustainable business strategy across the company using their vast knowledge and experience of over 22 years in the transport industry to drive the business forward.
Joining Platinum in 2012 working in the HR and compliance side of the business Abbe moved into her financial role in 2016 and has steadily improved and maintained Platinum’s excellent financial status whilst continuing to effectively manage all aspects of HR on a day to day basis. Abbe works closely with all of the Directors to guide the business both strategically and financially into the future on a secure and level footing.
Joining Platinum in 2019 Martin has recently taken over the role of Operations Director, overseeing the traffic desk and operations team. Martin is also head of compliance, upholding and maintaining all of the FORS accreditations and other industry standards Platinum hold along with being Platinum’s Transport Manager and Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor.
Jamie joined Platinum in 2020 bringing with him his excellent knowledge of warehouse operations. Jamie has complete control of the management of the storage and distribution centre in Belvedere, dealing with the day to day running of the vast array of goods stored and transported by Platinum Transport.
